For this recipe we rubbed two racks of Flannigan’s Butcher Shop ribs with mustard. Next we applied our Boss BBQ ‘Original’ rub to both sides of the ribs. Wrap the ribs in foil and place in the fridge over night. The next day remove the ribs from the fridge letting them return back to room temperature before placing them in the smoker.
Have the temperature of the smoker to 230 degrees. Remove the ribs from the foil and place them into the smoker for 3 hours while maintaining the heat. Spritz the ribs with apple juice every hour.
After 3 hours remove the ribs, wrap them in butcher paper and place the ribs back into the smoker for another 2 hours.
After 2 hours remove the ribs from the smoker, unwrap and place them back into the smoker. Now is the perfect time to add our Boss BBQ ‘Original’ sauce to spread over the entire ribs. Any of our 3 sauce flavours pairs well using this recipe.
Once the ribs are done let them rest for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes they are ready to slice up and serve.
